Oh no Jan, they do not heat up, they BLOW UP". It is actually pretty awesome and you should try it out! I like to get the blue, pink, and classic yellow Peeps, even though they all taste the same. They are awesome and a must have for Easter.

Right, so Peeps might taste weird and be a little too pastel, but they blow up in the microwave in the best way! How can you pass that up during the holidays?

I am not a huge fan of Peeps. They almost taste like poison. So sugary and a weird texture. Don't know how the kids can eat them, it makes me gag.

Not sure why everyone likes PEEPS - seems like alot of gooey sugar and not much else. If it had milk chocolate it might be worth trying.

So Peeps may not taste that good, but they're a Spring-time staple and you can have fun Peep jousting by putting two of them on a paper plate, sticking a toothpick into one of their wings, and then microwaving for a minute to watch them expand - eventually one will pop the other and emerge victorious.

All around gross. Peeps offer nothing of substance and the texture is enough to make me want to puke. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1 is because its awesome to watch them explode in the microwave.

The best candy for Easter! Reese's peanut butter eggs are my hands-down favorite, but Peeps come in a close second. I've always wanted to try heating them up in the microwave!
