Our coupon and discount links contain coupon tracking information which, in part, ensures your order receives the correct discount upon checkout. Some internet firewalls like Norton Internet Security, ZoneAlarm and Kazaa mistake this information as personal information and, in turn, block our coupon links when clicked. With the propper settings listed below, these issues can easily be resolved so you can use CouponCabin.com.

Below are the necessary steps for ensuring that firewalls allow CouponCabin links so that you can take advantage of CouponCabin savings.

Recommended Skill Level: Beginner (low risk to PC, this is very easy)

Note: The following steps may slightly vary by Norton version
(e.g., Norton 2004, Norton 2005 & Norton 2006)

Double-Click the "Norton Ineternet Security" desktop icon
Click the "Norton Antispam" bar on the left
Click the "Ad Blocking" link
Click the "Configure" button
Un-check the "Turn on Ad Blocking" check box
Click the "OK" button
Close "Norton Internet Security"
Shut Down & Re-start your computer

2. Zone Labs ZoneAlarm
Recommended Skill Level: Beginner (low risk to PC, this is very easy)

Double-Click the "Zone Labs ZoneAlarm" desktop icon
Click the word "Privacy" on the left
Move the "Ad Blocking" bar to "off"
Close "Zone Labs ZoneAlarm"
Shut Down & Re-start your computer

3. Changing Your Host File for Other Firewalls
Recommended Skill Level: Expert (some risk to PC if done incorrectly, experts only!)

• Go to your PC's Start Menu in the bottom left of your screen and select "Search"
Click "All files and folders"
Type the word "hosts" for the "file name"
• For the "Look in:" drop down box select "Local Hard Drives (C:)"

Double-Click the file "hosts" found in folder:
    "C:\WINDOWS\systems32\drivers\etc" for Windows XP users
"C:\WINNT\systems32\drivers\etc" for Windows NT users, or
    "C:\WINDOWS" for Windows 95/98/ME users

Select "Notepad" in the "Programs" list popup
Click the "OK" button
Look for the following domains listed in your hosts file
