The vision for Limn, Denver's eclectic Peruvian lounge, began during Chef Alex Gurevich's trips to the South American country. Continually in awe of and impressed by the richness of the culture and cuisine, he envisioned a place in Denver where people could gather to experience the warmth and liveliness of Peru. Limn's space was built with this concept in mind. It is rustic and inviting, comfortable and chic. Burgundy walls, exposed brick, wide plank wood floors and antique casks set an undeniably warm tone. The restaurant, bar/lounge, and patio offer distinctly different settings where guests can enjoy the food, the ambience and the energy that represent the Peruvian lifestyle.Limn is located in the revitalized uptown district of Denver and serves traditional Peruvian cuisine. Chef Alex Gurevich presents novoandino cuisine, a method of cooking that blends various styles of preparation but uses fresh, authentic ingredients. The result is inspired food and drink that reflect the best of this popular South American fare.The mixturas, or appetizers, give guests their first taste of the exceptional flavors of Peru while the Fondos (main plates) bring the indigenous cuisine front and center. StevO's Pizza & Ribs is a local "pizza joint" with a fun drive-in movie theater motiff- something is always playing on their large screen T.V.From the dining room you can watch them hand toss the pizza doughwhich is made fresh daily and cooked in old fashioned deck ovens. Every pizza is hand made with lots of TLC.With free Wi-Fi, reasonable prices, and great food, StevO's pizza & Ribs brings back the old-time pizzaria. Please don't expect fancy because we are all about food and comfort. There's no "hostess" or anybody with mints in the bathroom.

Our family opened our first restaurant, El Zarape over 30 years ago. Even though the restaurant closed, this experience set the pace for our love of the restaurant industry. At the time, it seemed like leasing kitchens was the way to go, so off we went leasing kitchens providing our 4 food (mostly bars). In 1979, we leased the kitchen at The Blue Bonnet (which back then, was a hole in the wall), but with our recipes and family members as our staff, we soon helped them become one of Denver's favorite Mexican restaurants.With success and experience under our belts, we purchased and opened Los Pinos Mexican Restaurant in Thornton, Colorado in 1982. After our lease expired at the Blue Bonnet in 1989, we opened Dora's Mexican Restaurant and Lounge in a strip mall - the old Aurora Summit spot. Four years later, an opportunity to buy a vacant, neglected building (where Calientes and Tequila Willy's once operated) was presented to us. We saw the potential, so our family rolled up our sleeves, put on our tool belts and began the renovation. On November 1,1994, we proudly opened Dora's Mexican Restaurant and Lounge and welcome you, your family and friends to come experience our lovely atmosphere and sample our delicious meals. We can't wait to serve you!

Families owned and operated come enjoy some family traditions of great authentic Mexican food. They aren't joking when they warn you about their hot green chili sauce. Overall very solid Mexican food with some New Mexican heat. The place looks like an absolute dive in a rundown strip mall but it's actually pretty good. I ordered the crispy rellenos and my husband had their combo platter. Both were tasty and offered more than enough food to fill us up. Come and enjoy this great place today!!
