Solo's centerpiece is a fully intact Boeing KC-97 tanker. Built in 1953, this magnificent airplane refueled aircraft throughout the world. Then, in May 2002, it began its second mission~ to be the preeminent aviation restaurant in the United States. Forty-two passengers can actually eat in the plane of the 275-seat restaurant. Joseph Freyre, owner of "Joseph's Fine Dining", has been in the restaurant business for over 25 years working in many five star hotels and restaurants. Joseph completed his culinary training at "Del Webb Culinary Institute" in Phoenix Az. He went on to become Matre D' of the prestigious Garden of the Gods Club for 5 years. After great success at the Garden of the Gods Club, Joseph spent 15 years at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colorado, a Five Star Five Diamond Hotel in the area. At the hotel, he acted as Matre D' of the famous Penrose Room for over 10 years and saw many successes during his tenure. During his time with the Broadmoor, his expertise on table side preparation helped Joseph to become the official trainer of the Broadmoor Hotel wait staff. Joseph has since owned and operated several restaurants including "Joseph's Hatch Cover" and the popular "Manitou Pancake and Steak" which he currently co-owns with his brother Luis. Josephs' passion for fine dining and cuisine has led him to open Joseph's Fine Dining. Using his history in fine dining and his culinary expertise, Joseph has created a menu at his new location where he mixes the world of old table side flamb cooking with nouveau cuisine sure to suit the tastes of even the most discriminating diner.

The Artfully prepared platter arrived with crisp lettuce, cucumber, and bean sprouts, fragrant cilantro and mint. With a pop of color from some shredded, marinated carrots. They offer incredible food with a relaxing atmosphere that is was no wonder the place, only three months old, was slammed at lunch, even though it's next door to a Subway. It didn't take long to understand why such a big lunch crowd chose Bhan Thai, despite having to wait a few minutes for a table. The owner, Piyada has transformed this place into a cheery oasis. They've installed polished concrete floors in dark reds and browns, bathed the walls in two tones of fleshy peach, separated by a dark chair rail, and they've ditched the acoustic-tile ceiling in favor of a warehouse look with exposed black ducts.You've just got to check them out today!
