It all started when I was a young child helping my grandpa cook BBQ. My grandpa, "Quillie" Gray of Snow Hill, N.C., was pretty well known for his barbecue. Growing up with grandpa, I learned that the main ingredients for good barbecue are time and patience. The first Ole Time Barbecue opened 1993 and we have worked hard to keep Grandpa's Ole Time traditions in our food and service.We have recently been rated one of the Top Ten Barbecue Restaurants in the state of North Carolina and have been nominated as one of Citysearch's "Best of" nominees.
