Starting on February 15, CVS typically cuts the price of Valentine’s Day cards in half. That markdown can turn into a free item for shoppers who check the CVS ExtraCare app first. A digital manufacturer offer for $3 off two Hallmark cards shows up often, and it usually works on seasonal clearance. Pair that coupon with two Valentine’s Day cards originally priced at $3 each, now reduced to $1.50 apiece, and the full total can drop to $0 at checkout.

Head to your local drugstore after Valentine’s Day to stock up on Hershey’s Kisses, Reese’s Hearts and heart-shaped boxes of chocolate. On February 15, CVS and Walgreens discount their seasonal chocolate by 50%. That being said, shoppers can find even better prices starting on February 18 when sale prices reach 70% to 90% off.
Shopping for a box of chocolates that costs $9.99? On February 15, you can get the item for $4.99, which is 50% off. On February 18, you can get the item for $3.00, which is 70% off. Utilize the CVS ExtraCare app to see if there are any available coupons that can stack with these clearance deals.
Flowers
Fresh-cut flowers will only last so long, but shoppers can still take advantage of impressive deals on floral arrangements after Valentine’s Day. Check for 1800Flowers coupons and FromYouFlowers promo codes throughout the month, especially on bouquets, gift baskets and seasonal arrangements.
Shoppers can sign up for the Celebrations Passport program for $19.99 a year ($29.99 after the first year) to save money at 1800Flowers. Members will get free shipping, which can help with seasonal discounts.
Valentine’s Day Candy
This is your chance to stock up on Conversation Hearts. Stores like CVS, Walgreens, Target and Walmart will be selling discounted candy. Look for Valentine’s Day bags of chocolate (Twix, M&Ms, Snickers), the Haribo Be Mine Mix, Charms Valentine Pops, Red, White & Pink M&Ms, Sour Patch Hearts and Dum Dums Heart Pops. This year, we're seeing a lot of Valentine's Day drinkware, including the Valentine's Day juice glasses at Anthropologie. If you’re in the market for adorable designs, shop the day after Valentine’s Day to see if you can get a sizable discount. By February 16, the juice glasses, retailing for $15, usually move to the sale section and receive a 25% discount. That means you can purchase them for just $11.25. Look for additional savings with Anthropologie codes.
