Our Guide to 2026 Menards Shopping Policies

• Can you explain Menards's return rules?

Menards offers a shopper-friendly return policy, with most items eligible for a full refund within 90 days when accompanied by a receipt. Electronics and gas-powered products have a shorter 30-day return window. Returns made after 90 days with a receipt receive in-store credit for the original purchase price, while returns without a receipt are typically refunded as in-store credit at the lowest selling price. Items must be unused and in original packaging, and special order or custom items may be excluded or subject to a restocking fee.

• How does Menards handle shipping?

Menards provides shoppers with flexible shipping and delivery options, including standard parcel delivery, free ship-to-store pickup, and local store delivery to your home or business. Same-day and next-day delivery are available in select areas for added convenience, while standard shipping usually takes 1 to 2 weeks. The ability to choose a preferred delivery date for local deliveries makes Menards a reliable choice for those looking for convenient and customizable shipping solutions.

The program also features online account management and employee card options for added convenience.

• How are cancellations managed at Menards?

Menards allows shoppers to cancel 'Pick Up at Store' orders only before they enter the 'In Process' stage, which limits flexibility if you change your mind. Nonrefundable processing fees may apply, so review your order carefully before finalizing.
