We often see a steady stream of personalized coupons and member pricing at Tom Thumb, all tied to account sign-in through the store's website or app. Discount opportunities refresh often, with FreshPass rewards points and digital offers forming the backbone of Tom Thumb's approach. Coupon codes and widespread markdowns rarely turn up, as the store leans into targeted, account-based deals that reward regular digital engagement over blanket sales.

Our Guide to 2026 Tom Thumb Shopping Policies
Where do I enter a Promo Code at Tom Thumb?
On the Shopping Cart page, find the Promo Code field in the upper right. Enter your code and click Apply to see savings applied to your order.
What is Tom Thumb's grocery return policy?
Tom Thumb allows returns for most online grocery items if the shopper is not satisfied, as long as they notify the delivery driver at drop off, the store associate at pickup, or customer service within seven days of delivery or pickup. Approved returns receive a refund to the original payment method or a store credit if preferred. Certain items such as baby formula, alcohol, and tobacco products are not eligible for return once accepted.
Tom Thumb offers free delivery for FreshPass subscribers on online orders of $30 or more, making it a great option for regular shoppers looking to save on delivery fees. However, delivery is only available in select areas and some orders may be fulfilled by partner stores or third-party providers, which could affect service consistency. The $30 minimum is based on the pre-tax subtotal and excludes certain items, so be sure to check your cart before checkout.
Tom Thumb offers special savings through verified status programs for several groups, including students, teachers, military members, first responders, seniors, and shoppers using government assistance programs. Eligible customers must verify their status through SheerID to access exclusive offers and Tom Thumb for U member benefits. Verification requires basic personal information like your name, date of birth, ZIP code, email, and phone number to confirm eligibility for the discount.
Tom Thumb's FreshPass subscription cancellation policy is shopper-friendly, allowing you to cancel at any time by signing in to your account, selecting Fresh Pass in account settings, then Cancel FreshPass to follow the instructions. Eligible paid subscription fees will be refunded if you cancel before the first 15 calendar days of the paid subscription period and you have not placed an order. However, if you cancel after the first 15 calendar days have passed or if have placed a delivery order within those first 15 days, a refund is not available. You may continue to use your subscription through the end of your plan's end date.
Tom Thumb's FreshPass loyalty program is a paid subscription that offers solid value for frequent shoppers, especially those who order groceries online. Members enjoy unlimited free delivery on qualifying orders, extra points on exclusive brands, and ongoing discounts on select organic and pet care products. The program also includes monthly perks and VIP customer service, making it a worthwhile option for regular Tom Thumb customers.
How does the Tom Thumb for U program help you save?
Members earn 1 point per $1 on groceries and 2 points per $1 on gift cards. Redeem 100 points for $1 cash off at checkout. Plus, enjoy personalized offers and a free birthday treat.
