In examining 5.11 Tactical's approach, we see a pattern of selective markdowns as well as frequent discount codes and sitewide promotions. Discount codes emerge regularly, while no loyalty program is currently offered. Limited-time promotions do appear through homepage banners or email sign-ups, but these lack a regular or predictable schedule. General discounts are part of the store's promotional framework.

Our Guide to 2026 5.11 Tactical Shopping Policies
Where do I enter a Discount Code at 5.11 Tactical?
On the Checkout page, find Add a Discount Code in the upper right of the page. Enter the Discount Code and click Apply Discount Code to apply it to the order.
What is 5.11 Tactical's return policy?
5.11 Tactical offers a shopper-friendly return policy, allowing returns or exchanges within 90 days as long as items are unworn, in original condition, and include all packaging. Refunds typically go back to your original payment method, but purchases with PayPal, Affirm, or unavailable payment methods are refunded as gift cards. Shipping fees are only refunded for defective items or errors. Final sale, underwear, face masks, altered items, and patches are not returnable.
5.11 Tactical offers a solid shipping policy for U.S. shoppers, with free ground shipping on orders over $99, making it a good choice for coupon and deal seekers looking to save on larger purchases. Orders usually arrive within 7-10 business days, though processing can take a few days. Shipping to P.O. Boxes is not supported. Overall, the policy is straightforward and reliable for most customers.
5.11 Tactical's order cancellation policy is strict, as orders cannot usually be canceled or changed once placed due to immediate processing and packing. This means shoppers should double-check their cart before checkout. The policy is standard for fast-shipping retailers, but it may be inconvenient if you need flexibility after ordering.
Does 5.11 Tactical hold large sales during the year?
5.11 Tactical offers shoppers frequent opportunities to save with recurring sales and a dedicated sale section featuring discounts as high as 70%. Major events like Black Friday and Cyber Monday bring sitewide deals of 20-25% off, while special campaigns can reach up to 40% off, making it a reliable destination for bargain hunters seeking quality tactical gear.
Does 5.11 Tactical support Buy Now, Pay Later?
5.11 Tactical offers shoppers a flexible payment option through Affirm to split your purchase into scheduled payments at checkout. Eligibility requires at least a $50 purchase at checkout. Payments taken every 2 weeks over an 8-week time frame include no interest fees. However, Affirm also provides 3 and 6-month plans with varying APR rates. Shoppers should note that plan options vary upon purchase amount and a down payment may be required.
