In our experience, Canon features direct price reductions on select products, with discounts automatically applied at checkout or shown on product pages. Advertised promo codes are not a regular component of its promotions, and while Canon offers certain membership and upgrade programs, these are typically limited to specific use rather than functioning as broad loyalty rewards. Shoppers can also save with a PIXMA Print Plan, while bundles and free shipping offers appear as added value. The savings approach focuses on targeted deals and rotating events rather than always-on promotions across every category.
Offers are verified by our pros when added. Always confirm final prices at checkout.

Our Guide to 2026 Canon Shopping Policies
Where can I enter a promo code at Canon?
On the Shopping Cart page under My Cart, locate the upper right section labeled Promo Code. Enter your code there and click Apply to redeem it on your order.
How are returns managed at Canon?
Canon's return policy is fairly strict, requiring shoppers to request a return authorization within 14 days of delivery for most items and to return products in their original packaging with all included materials. Shipping and handling fees are generally non-refundable unless the item is defective, and return shipping is usually the customer's responsibility unless covered by warranty. Some items, like non-defective CDs or manuals and low-value parts, are non-returnable. Holiday purchases may benefit from an extended return window. This policy is best suited for shoppers who are confident in their purchase decisions and can keep track of deadlines.
Canon's online store offers reliable shipping within the 50 US states and DC, but does not deliver to PO boxes, military addresses, or US territories, which may limit convenience for some shoppers. Orders placed before early afternoon usually ship the same day, but even with expedited shipping, fast delivery is not guaranteed. Free shipping promotions are sometimes available, especially for orders over $99, making it worthwhile to look for deals.
Canon offers a Student Membership program for students focused on imaging. Benefits include a new member welcome kit with a CPS Member Card and student gift, a 10% discount on repairs for products listed on the CPS Student Repair List, and complimentary Canon Maintenance Service. These offers are available for up to 2 items per membership term.
Canon's order cancellation policy is strict, as most orders are processed immediately and cannot be canceled by shoppers, except for backordered items. The store also reserves the right to cancel orders at any time. If you make a mistake, you need to contact customer support right away. Subscription cancellations usually do not refund advance payments. This policy means shoppers should double-check their order before finalizing, as flexibility is limited.
Canon frequently offers seasonal sales like summer and holiday promotions, providing shoppers with valuable instant savings and direct discounts on cameras and lenses, plus free shipping on qualifying orders. These events are a great opportunity to save, especially for those looking for new gear, though some exclusions apply. Signing up for updates helps you catch the best deals.
Does Canon offer Buy Now, Pay Later?
For consumer purchases in the US, Canon offers Klarna as a Buy Now, Pay Later option. Through Klarna, eligible purchases can be split into installments, with purchase limits and repayment timing set by Klarna. Application, approval, and any costs are handled by Klarna under its own terms. Klarna cannot be used for subscriptions, pre-orders, or backorders, so choose a different payment method for those items.
What products are excluded from Canon offers?
Promotional discounts and special offers apply only to qualifying items and cannot be applied to previous transactions. Specific merchandise models and select products are excluded from promotional pricing. Additionally, CarePAK service plans are entirely ineligible for these promotional discounts. These exclusions apply to all standard promotional offers, meaning savings cannot be retroactively applied to any order completed prior to the start of the promotion.
How can I save on ink refills for a Canon printer?
With the PIXMA Print Plan, you can save up to 70% on ink through recurring shipments. The Occasional plan starts at $4.49/month for 30 pages, and new subscribers may qualify for a 3-month free trial with 200 pages per month.
What benefits come with Canon Professional Services?
Canon Professional Services (CPS) provides support for emerging to full-time imaging professionals. CPS members can receive expedited and discounted equipment repairs, equipment loans, event support, dedicated phone and email support, and more.
The Upgrade Program provides a 10% promo code that is valid for 14 days from a repair estimate date. The code is one-time use only and can be applied to a single eligible Canon Upgrade Program product.
