Historically, we see percentage-off codes featured on banners and homepages at Harney & Sons, often applying to the entire site or general categories. These codes appear outside of holiday cycles and are not connected to specific events. Email sign-up discounts and periodic free shipping offers also make an appearance. Rewards points are promoted as an ongoing way to earn discounts through the Harney & Sons Tea Infusiast loyalty program.

Our Guide to 2026 Harney & Sons Shopping Policies
Where do I enter a Discount Code at Harney & Sons?
On the Shipping page, find the Discount Code field in the upper right. Enter your code and select Apply to add it to your order.
What should I know about returns at Harney & Sons?
Harney & Sons offers a straightforward return policy that gives shoppers 30 days from delivery to return items, which is fairly standard. Non-food items must be unused and in original packaging for a refund, while opened tea can only be returned for store credit, which may limit flexibility for some customers. Shoppers are responsible for return shipping unless there is a quality issue. Refunds go back to the original payment method, but gift and opened tea returns only get store credit. Extra fees apply for undeliverable or refused packages, so double-check your shipping details.
Harney & Sons offers a reliable and flexible shipping policy that benefits shoppers looking for quality tea. Delivery times are reasonable, and free shipping is available for qualifying orders, making it easy to save on larger purchases. Orders are processed quickly, especially for priority dispatch, and the store provides clear guidelines on shipping restrictions and signature requirements.
Harney & Sons offers a valuable military and veteran discount for active duty, veterans, and retirees, making it a great way to save on premium teas. Shoppers can expect savings of 20%. Eligibility is easy to verify online via VerifyPass, but the discount usually cannot be combined with other promotions or loyalty rewards.
Harney & Sons allows shoppers to cancel orders or update shipping addresses by reaching out to customer service, but changes are not possible once the order is being processed for dispatch. This policy is fairly standard, though there is a $6.00 restocking fee that is subtracted from the refund if the package is refused, which may be a drawback for some shoppers.
Does Harney & Sons have a program for loyal customers?
Harney & Sons rewards shoppers through their Tea Infusiast and general loyalty programs, letting you earn points on every online purchase. These points can be redeemed for discounts on future orders, making it a smart way to save if you shop regularly. However, be aware that any store credit you earn will expire after 24 months, so it's best to use your rewards before they run out.
Harney & Sons offers shoppers reliable annual and seasonal sales like Black Friday, Cyber Monday, the Harney Holiday Haul, and a Spring Tea Sale, with discounts ranging from 5% to 50% on select teas and accessories. These promotions often apply site-wide or to specific collections, making it a great time to save, though discounts usually cannot be combined with other offers or used on gift cards.
Is there a Buy Now, Pay Later plan through Harney & Sons?
Harney & Sons offers eligible orders through Shop Pay Installments, powered by Affirm, with approval required. The short Pay in 4 option typically takes an interest-free installment at purchase and three further payments two weeks apart. Shop Pay Installments has no late fees; a longer monthly offer, if available, can still add interest at an APR between 0% and 36%. Its application does not affect your credit score, but accepted loan and payment records may be reported. The offer's initial charge and full repayment amount show the commitment attached to the tea order.
