T.J. Maxx Coupons & Promo Codes

In reviewing T.J. Maxx trends, markdowns appear primarily at the individual product level rather than through rotating sitewide deals, coupon codes, or coupon events. The store highlights compare-at pricing to signal value, and digital banners rarely promote extra discounts, reinforcing a model centered on straightforward, built-in savings. While T.J. Maxx does promote its co-branded TJX Rewards credit card, which allows cardholders to earn rewards on purchases, broadly available promotions or traditional loyalty-style incentives are not a dominant feature of the overall experience.

Our Guide to 2026 T.J. Maxx Shopping Policies

  • Where do I enter a code on T.J. Maxx?

On T.J. Maxx, go to the Shopping Cart with the header Bag and find the Codes section in the upper right. Enter your code there and click Apply to add the savings to your order.

  • How do returns work at T.J. Maxx?

T.J. Maxx's return policy is fairly shopper-friendly, offering a 40-day window for online orders and 30 days for in-store purchases, as long as items are in original, unused condition with tags. In-store returns are free, making it convenient for most shoppers, but mail returns come with an $11.99 fee deducted from your refund. Refunds go back to your original payment if you have a receipt and return within the window, otherwise you get store credit. Some exclusions apply, especially for high-value or used items.

  • What are the rules for canceling at T.J. Maxx?

T.J. Maxx does not allow changes or cancellations once your order is placed and confirmed, which can be inconvenient if you change your mind. • Does T.J. Maxx offer major sales events?

T.J. Maxx is known for its everyday-discounted merchandise rather than frequent traditional sales, but there are still good times to shop for deeper markdowns. Clearance tends to become especially attractive during seasonal transitions, and markdowns can vary by store and merchandise category. While Black Friday isn't the centerpiece of T.J. Maxx's pricing strategy, the retailer may offer holiday promotions and online perks, including free-shipping offers.

  • How can I get credit card savings at T.J. Maxx?

The TJX Rewards Credit Card from T.J. Maxx is a solid choice for frequent shoppers at T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Sierra, and Homesense, offering 5% back in rewards on purchases at these stores and 1% back elsewhere with the Platinum Mastercard. Shoppers benefit from exclusive events, free shipping offers, and a 10% discount on their first card purchase, making it a valuable loyalty program for regular customers.
