Our Guide to 2026 Avocado Mattress Shopping Policies
Where do I enter a Discount Code at Avocado Mattress?
Find the Discount Code box in the upper right of the Review Order Page on Avocado Mattress. Enter your Discount Code and click Apply to apply it to your order.
How does Avocado Mattress handle returns?
Avocado Mattress offers generous trial periods ranging from 30 nights to a full year, giving shoppers plenty of time to test products like mattresses, bedding, and pillows. However, returns come with notable fees, such as a $99 mattress return fee or 10% for Grand Luxe, and furniture has a 20% restocking fee. Products must be in donatable condition, and shipping or setup costs are not refunded. Purchases are covered by a strong 25-year warranty, adding peace of mind for buyers.
Avocado Mattress offers free shipping on most mattresses, making it an attractive choice for shoppers looking to save on delivery costs. They provide service across all 50 states, though a surcharge is applied to orders sent to Alaska and Hawaii. Overall, their shipping policy is shopper-friendly and reliable for most customers.
What kinds of discounts does Avocado Mattress provide?
Avocado Mattress provides special discounts for medical professionals, military, first responders, teachers, and students, with savings of $75 off orders over $1,000. Eligibility is verified through ID.me and these offers cannot be combined with other promos. This is a solid benefit for eligible shoppers, making eco-friendly mattresses more affordable.
What should I know about canceling at Avocado Mattress?
Avocado Mattress offers shoppers the flexibility to cancel orders for free before shipment, which is a shopper-friendly policy. However, once your item has shipped, your order cannot be canceled, so plan your purchase carefully.
Does Avocado Mattress have a Buy Now, Pay Later program?
Avocado Mattress makes shopping easier by offering flexible Buy Now Pay Later options through Affirm and Shop Pay. With plans starting at 0% APR and the ability to split payments into four interest-free installments, shoppers can enjoy quality mattresses without having to pay for the entire cost upfront.

Does Avocado Mattress offer price matching?
Avocado Mattress offers a price adjustment if the price of the same new item drops within 30 days after your purchase through Avocado or an authorized retailer. You must contact the Customer Experience team within 30 days of the order date and provide proof of the lower publicly advertised in-stock price for an identical model, size, and color. Approved requests are refunded to the original payment method, but marketplace, reseller, auction, and unauthorized retailer offers do not qualify.
What items are excluded from Avocado Mattress discounts?
Promotional discounts do not apply to a variety of specific items. Excluded products include Grand Luxe mattresses, Grand Luxe foundations, Grand Luxe mattress toppers, and Grand Luxe pillows. Customers cannot use coupon codes on kids pillows, Montecito furniture, or Avocado adjustable bases. Additionally, crib mattress pad protectors, Babyletto x Avocado cribs and sheets, and the Coyuchi x Avocado collection are completely ineligible for promotional offers.
