Our findings suggest that Dillard’s does not consistently maintain always-on sitewide or category-level discounts, and public promo codes are not a dominant feature of its savings strategy. Instead, the store centers on a clearly marked clearance section, where markdowns are updated on a rolling basis. Progressive price reductions appear to be the primary savings lever. Additional savings can be found through the Dillard's Rewards program and the store credit card. Overall, the retailer favors controlled discounting and selective promotional periods over frequent, ongoing deal activity.

Our Guide to 2026 Dillard's Shopping Policies
Where do I enter a Reward Code at Dillard's checkout?
On the payment page at Dillard's, find the Reward Code field on the middle left under Add a Rewards Code. Enter your Reward Code and select Add to apply it to your order total.
How are returns managed at Dillard's?
Dillard's offers a straightforward return policy, allowing shoppers to return most online purchases within 30 days as long as items are unused and in original packaging. In-store returns are free, but mail returns using a Dillard's label cost $9.95, which is something to consider for online shoppers. Clearance items discounted 65% or more, personalized products, and certain sale items are non-returnable, so be sure to check before buying. Refunds go to the original payment method or as store credit for gifts.
Dillard's shipping policy is fairly shopper-friendly, offering both Standard and Next Business Day delivery options through trusted carriers like USPS and FedEx. Standard shipping is free for orders over $150 within the Continental U.S., which is a solid perk for coupon hunters. Delivery times are reasonable, with most in-stock items shipping quickly, but expedited shipping and some delivery locations have notable restrictions.
Dillard's offers shoppers a straightforward order cancellation policy that allows you to cancel your order easily online as long as the shipping label has not been created. While this window is usually very brief, it gives you a little flexibility if you change your mind quickly, and there are no extra fees for canceling during this time. However, after a shipping label is made, you cannot cancel, but you may still be able to return most items, except for non-returnable products like clearance or personalized goods. This policy is fair and user-friendly, making it convenient for coupon shoppers who want peace of mind when placing an order.
How does Dillard's credit-card rewards program work?
Dillard's Rewards points come from eligible spending on an approved Dillard's Credit Card or Mastercard; the Mastercard can also earn on qualifying purchases outside Dillard's. Members redeem points for either a 10%-off shopping pass or a $10 reward certificate, subject to each reward's restrictions. Points lapse after one year, while Elite status has separate spending qualifications and benefits including eligible free shipping and gift wrapping. Use the reward deadlines and planned purchases to assess those benefits, since maintaining a credit balance can add interest.
Dillard's offers shoppers frequent seasonal sales events, including major promotions around Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and back-to-school, with discounts often reaching up to 65% on select items.
Does Dillard's join Buy Now, Pay Later programs?
Dillard's offers Afterpay as a Buy Now, Pay Later option that allows shoppers to divide a purchase into 4 interest-free payments over 6 weeks. Approval is typically quick, and applying does not initially affect the customer's credit score. This provides an alternative to paying the entire purchase amount upfront.
• Source • Source This Pay Later finding is based on our team's live checkout simulation on Dillards.com.
Are credit card savings offered at Dillard's?
Dillard's credit cards, issued by Citibank, earn 2 points per dollar on Dillard's purchases. New members receive a 10% off Welcome Shopping Pass after a $100 purchase. Points redeem for shopping passes or rewards certificates.
Can I save money with the Dillard's registry options?
Dillard's registry shoppers can save 20% on remaining home, beauty, lingerie, and furniture items through the completion program. A 10% discount is also available on small electrics when buying in-store and asking an associate for details.
Choose Certificates for Dillard's card rewards. Every 1,500 points becomes a $10 certificate, and multiple certificates can be used on one eligible purchase.
How can I save on registry purchases at Dillard's?
Build your Dillard's registry around brands with bonus gifts. For example, Dillard's lists a free Lodge care kit after $99 and Le Creuset gifts starting at $500.
