Users should be aware that last-minute or frequent cancellations may incur charges, so plan ahead to avoid extra costs. This policy helps ensure reliability for both riders and drivers, making it important to review before booking.
Lyft offers Lyft Pink, a paid membership for frequent riders. Benefits include free Priority Pickup upgrades, member exclusive pricing, and relaxed ride cancellations, plus a complimentary Grubhub+ subscription. Separate from Lyft Pink, all Lyft users can link select airline and hotel rewards accounts to earn points or miles on eligible rides.
Lyft offers Price Lock for frequent rides between the same pickup and drop-off locations at a similar time of day. After paying $2.99, you can lock in a regular ride price for one month and pay that price or less while the pass is active. If the market rate is lower, you pay the lower rate. Savings are capped at $50 per month per pass. The pass renews automatically each month, can be used with coupons and other Lyft benefits, and does not work with Priority Pickup.
Earn extra rewards on every Lyft ride by linking your loyalty accounts in the app. You can collect 3 Hilton Honors points or 2 to 3 Alaska Airlines miles per dollar spent. Connecting your DoorDash account may qualify you for DashPass perks.
Turn on auto refill and pay with Lyft Cash. The $50 tier gives 4% back and 2 cancel credits monthly, while the $100 tier gives 5% back, 2 Extra Comfort upgrades and 2 cancel credits.
Lyft lets you lock one ride's price up to 90 days ahead, and eligible airport trips add automatic Lyft Cash, including $15 if pickup is 10+ minutes late or $50 if no driver is matched after 10 minutes.
