Based on our findings, checkout codes feature on banners and homepages at Rugs Direct, spanning the entire site or select categories. These rotate often and are available to all shoppers, not restricted to members. Email sign-up offers provide additional value, reinforcing a loyalty friendly tone. The Trade Program is available for professionals, and there is a price match policy. Rugs Direct relies on clear, widely accessible codes as a key part of its steady promotional rhythm.

Our Guide to 2026 Rugs Direct Shopping Policies
Where do I enter a promo code at Rugs Direct?
Enter your code in the Promo Code box labeled Add promo code in the middle right of the checkout page, then click Apply to activate your discount at Rugs Direct.
What is Rugs Direct's return policy?
Rugs Direct accepts returns within 30 days for items in new condition and in the original packaging. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Custom, clearance, and made to order items are final sale and cannot be returned. When your return qualifies, refunds are issued to the original form of payment, usually within 1-2 weeks.
What's the standard shipping policy for Rugs Direct?
Rugs Direct provides free standard shipping within the contiguous USA, which is a solid perk for shoppers looking to save on delivery costs, though every order does include a non-refundable processing and handling fee. Shipping is generally fast, with most items arriving in about a week, but custom and made-to-order rugs can take much longer, sometimes several months. Additional fees apply for orders outside the contiguous USA, and the store does not ship to P.O. Boxes or APO addresses. Shoppers should inspect their rugs upon arrival and report any damage immediately. Overall, the policy is straightforward and reliable, but the handling fee and long wait times for custom items may be a drawback for some.
Rugs Direct's order cancellation policy requires shoppers to call customer service quickly if they want to cancel, but cancellation is not guaranteed once processing or shipping begins. If they cancel after processing, they may face return shipping fees, and refusing delivery without approval will cost a 20% service fee. This policy means shoppers should act fast and be sure of their purchase to avoid extra charges.
Rugs Direct focuses its loyalty benefits on a Trade Program designed for design professionals like interior designers and contractors, offering exclusive trade pricing, extra discounts, volume deals, and free shipping. However, regular shoppers will not find a general customer rewards or loyalty program, so everyday buyers may miss out on ongoing perks or points. The trade program does feature a 30-day satisfaction guarantee and dedicated service, but discounts cannot be stacked with other offers.
Rugs Direct is a reliable choice for shoppers looking to save on quality rugs, with frequent sales events throughout the year and especially deep discounts during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Shoppers can enjoy savings up to 70% daily and even higher on closeout items, with discounts often applied automatically. Signing up for email or SMS alerts ensures you never miss exclusive deals or upcoming promotions.
Can I use Buy Now, Pay Later at Rugs Direct?
Rugs Direct provides Buy Now, Pay Later options through Sezzle and Afterpay. Eligible purchases can be divided into 4 interest-free payments over 6 weeks, with no additional fees. These payment options do not require a hard credit check, and approval decisions are provided instantly.
Does Rugs Direct support price matching on purchases?
Rugs Direct offers a solid price match policy for shoppers, promising to match and beat a competitor's lower price by 10% of the difference on identical items. Shoppers should note price match requests can only be made prior to placing an order, and won't be honored after processing. This gives buyers confidence they are getting the best deal, though some exclusions apply. For any questions about a price match, reach out via phone at 888-464-1447 or email them at info@rugsdirect.com.
Does Rugs Direct have a discount for professionals?
Interior designers can join the Rugs Direct Trade Program to unlock exclusive discounts and enjoy free shipping on orders. Members also gain access to product samples.
If you find a lower price on an identical item, Rugs Direct will match it and give an extra 10% off the difference in price. For example, if another retailer is $100 cheaper, you'll save an additional $10.
