Based on our observations, we see Steelcase running periodic limited-time offers and discounts across select collections, with broader sitewide or category-level promotions appearing at times rather than as an always-on feature. Discount codes are part of the savings mix during active campaigns, but they do not appear to dominate the shopping experience. While not every collection is discounted consistently, promotional pricing surfaces often enough to suggest an intentional, if measured, discounting strategy. The Steelcase Rewards program is available for professionals to earn points on purchases.

Our Guide to 2026 Steelcase Shopping Policies
Where do I enter a Promo Code at Steelcase?
On the Shopping Cart page, find Promo Code in the bottom right of the page. Enter your Promo Code and click Apply to apply it to your order.
Can you explain Steelcase's return rules?
Steelcase offers a straightforward return policy, allowing shoppers to return new and unused items within 30 days as long as they have proof of purchase and original packaging. Ergonomic chairs enjoy free return shipping within the contiguous US, which is a great perk, but other items may incur fees. Shipping and handling fees are not refunded, and third-party purchases are excluded. The Limited Lifetime Warranty adds extra peace of mind for direct buyers.
Steelcase's shipping policy is straightforward but may be costly for some shoppers, with standard delivery fees set at 15% of your order subtotal and a minimum charge. However, if you're buying high-performance seating within the contiguous US, you benefit from free FedEx Ground shipping and 30-day free returns, making it a great deal for those products. Professional delivery and installation are available for an extra fee, but expect longer delivery times. Shoppers outside the contiguous US should be aware that free shipping does not apply, and Steelcase may cancel or adjust orders if delivery services are unavailable. Overall, the policy is clear and reliable, but shoppers should factor in shipping costs unless purchasing select seating.
Steelcase's order cancellation policy is somewhat restrictive since you can only cancel before your order goes into production, which may limit flexibility for shoppers who change their minds. However, the company is transparent about delays or refusals due to shipping errors or product availability and promises prompt refunds, which adds a layer of trust and reliability for online shoppers.
Steelcase does not offer a rewards or loyalty program for regular shoppers on its online store, which may be disappointing for those looking to earn points or discounts on purchases. Their existing Steelcase Rewards program is only available to dealer salespeople, not general customers. If you are a typical shopper seeking extra savings or perks, you will not find a customer loyalty program here.
Steelcase regularly offers seasonal sales and participates in major events like Black Friday, giving shoppers a chance to save with percentage-off discounts on select furniture and office products. Signing up for their email newsletter is a smart way to stay updated on promotions, but keep in mind that availability and discounts can vary and some exclusions may apply.
Can I finance a Steelcase purchase with PayPal Credit?
A Steelcase purchase of $149 or more may qualify for PayPal Credit's six-month promotion after credit approval. This is deferred-interest credit: clear the full promotional balance by the deadline to avoid interest calculated from the purchase date. The monthly minimum is still required and may be too small to finish repayment within six months. PayPal Credit is not the four-installment PayPal Pay in 4 product, and purchases outside the promotion follow the account's standard APR and fee terms.
