We note that Michael Stars' discount activity focuses on a curated sale section that refreshes with marked-down styles, while general and category promotions remain common. Promo codes turn up regularly, and the store occasionally runs sitewide sales. The retailer also offers a loyalty program called Michael Stars Rewards, which allows members to earn points and exclusive rewards. Shoppers looking for deals will find the most consistent savings in the regularly updated sale area rather than through sweeping promotional events.

What's Michael Stars' return process?
Michael Stars offers a shopper-friendly return policy, allowing returns within 30 days for most online purchases as long as items are unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags. Returns are simplified for continental US customers with prepaid labels, though original shipping fees are not refunded. Final sale items, including those discounted 50% or more and clearly marked with a final sale banner, are not eligible for return unless defective. Purchases made through other retailers must be returned to the original store.
Michael Stars provides shoppers with several shipping options across the continental U.S. Free shipping is available for orders over $200, excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Orders are processed Monday through Thursday within one business day. Economy delivery typically takes 5 to 8 business days, while standard delivery typically takes 3 to 4 business days.
Request an order cancellation by emailing michaelstars@thredup.com and be sure to include your order number. Cancellation may not be available if the order is processed immediately. If the order cannot be canceled in time, use the return process after delivery instead of canceling before shipment.
Michael Stars Rewards is a free loyalty program where shoppers earn points on every purchase, which can be redeemed for discounts on future orders. Members get bonus points for signing up, engaging on social media, birthdays, and leaving reviews. The tiered system offers better rewards and perks as you spend more, making it a solid choice for frequent Michael Stars shoppers looking to save and get exclusive benefits.
Are large sales events part of Michael Stars' offerings?
Michael Stars offers shoppers significant savings during their recurring End of Season and Warehouse Sales, with discounts reaching up to 75% off select styles. These sales usually take place in June, July, and November, making them ideal times to shop for deals. Rewards members often get early access, but promotions are limited to certain items and cannot be combined.
Are Buy Now, Pay Later services at Michael Stars?
Michael Stars shoppers can take advantage of flexible Buy Now Pay Later options with Klarna, making it easier to budget for new purchases. After a quick approval process, you get a secure virtual card to use at checkout, offering convenience and more control over your payments.
