Our Guide to 2026 Pottery Barn Shopping Policies

• Where do I enter my Pottery Barn promo code?

On Pottery Barn's Checkout page, locate the Promo Code box below the Payment section to the left. Enter your code and click Apply to redeem it before completing your payment.

• What return guidelines does Pottery Barn have?

Pottery Barn offers a generally shopper-friendly return policy, allowing most items to be returned within 30 days, though Quick Ship upholstery must be returned within 7 days. Shoppers need an original or gift receipt for all returns, with refunds going back to the original payment method or as store credit for gifts. However, be aware that personalized, made-to-order, final sale, and certain other items are non-returnable, so review your order carefully before purchasing.

• What is Pottery Barn's shipping procedure?

Pottery Barn's shipping policy offers shoppers flexibility with both parcel and flat rate home delivery, including white glove service for large items. Shipping is available across the U.S. and territories, though extra charges apply for Alaska, Hawaii, and territories. Standard shipping fees are based on order total, and next day delivery costs more. Free shipping deals are sometimes offered, but often exclude furniture or oversized items, so check their free shipping section for eligible products.

• What's Pottery Barn's cancellation process?

Pottery Barn's order cancellation policy is strict, allowing cancellations only before the invoice is issued and processed, which can happen quickly, sometimes within an hour. Front Door deliveries cannot be canceled at all. Shoppers must act fast and contact customer service immediately if they need to change or cancel an order, so plan purchases carefully.

• Is there a shopper loyalty program at Pottery Barn?

Pottery Barn's Key Rewards loyalty program is a solid choice for frequent shoppers looking to save, offering 2% back on purchases not just at Pottery Barn but also at Williams Sonoma, West Elm, and Mark & Graham. The free Silver tier gives you exclusive offers, early sale access, and complimentary design services. If you have a Pottery Barn credit card, you're upgraded to Gold for even better rewards, including free shipping and a birthday bonus. This program is especially valuable for those who shop regularly across these brands, making it easy to earn rewards and enjoy extra perks without extra cost.

• Are big promotions available at Pottery Barn?

Pottery Barn offers frequent seasonal sales that are ideal for savvy shoppers looking to save on home furnishings. Shoppers can expect discounts ranging from 10% to as much as 80% off during major holiday events like Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Black Friday. In addition to these, Pottery Barn features monthly category-specific promotions, end-of-season warehouse sales, and significant post-holiday clearance events. These sales typically occur after Easter, at the end of summer, after Christmas, and after New Year's, making it a great opportunity to find quality home goods at reduced prices throughout the year.

• Does Pottery Barn have Buy Now, Pay Later options?

Use Buy Now Pay Later at Pottery Barn with providers like Klarna, Sezzle, and Affirm. Many plans split purchases into 3 or 4 interest free payments over about 6 weeks, but some options can include interest or service fees. Approval is often instant and usually needs a linked debit or credit card. Review the specific terms for fees or interest, and plan payments to avoid issues.

• Does Pottery Barn have its own credit card for shoppers?

The Pottery Barn Key Rewards Visa is a strong choice, offering 10% back in rewards for the first 30 days and 5% back after, plus 4% back on groceries and dining. There is no annual fee and extra perks like birthday rewards and early sale access are available. Shoppers can also opt for zero-interest financing for 12 months on purchases of $750 or more at PotteryBarn.com, but should keep in mind that rewards cannot be earned when promotional financing is used.
