• What should I know about returns at Scholastic?

Scholastic supports confident, informed purchases with a clear 30-day return policy. Customers can send back any unsatisfactory item by including the packing slip, securely repacking it, and shipping to Scholastic's Jefferson City address. Using a trackable carrier is advised, and shoppers should note that shipping fees are nonrefundable.

• How does Scholastic handle shipping?

Scholastic's shipping policy is generally shopper-friendly, especially for book lovers, with free standard shipping on book-only orders over $35 in the US. However, free shipping does not apply to toys, games, or items with non-book components, so mixed carts may incur fees. Delivery times are reasonable, with multiple speed options, making Scholastic a reliable choice for parents and teachers seeking value and convenience.

• Is there a discount policy at Scholastic?

Scholastic offers valuable special discounts for both teachers and parents, making it a smart choice for anyone looking to save on educational materials. Educators can enjoy exclusive savings, including 10% off for new teachers and additional discounts on bulk book purchases. Parents also benefit from special deals through Scholastic Book Clubs and the Scholastic Parents section, making it easy to find affordable books and resources for kids.

• How do cancellations work at Scholastic?

Scholastic's order cancellation policy is somewhat restrictive, allowing cancellations only within a very short window after placing your order. If your order is already being prepared for shipment, cancellation is not possible, which can be inconvenient for shoppers who change their minds. For the best experience, act quickly if you need to cancel.

• Does Scholastic have a rewards program?

Scholastic runs Clubs Rewards for teachers in the United States. Teachers earn points from classroom and family orders, and can redeem those points for books and classroom supplies. The program features a tiered Apple Rewards system that unlocks more benefits as class spending grows. This is a teacher-focused program, with family orders crediting the teacher and helping classrooms accumulate redeemable points.
